Finished examples

What each activity produced in a rehearsal run, to compare with yours or to catch up from.

These came from rehearsal runs: Claude (Sonnet) acting as Claude Code for an attendee, typing the activity’s prompts one at a time on a laptop without Python or Node.js. Your results will differ, sometimes a lot. Same prompt, different result: that’s normal, and it’s why you check.

Each download is the whole folder at the end of the activity: the data, the dashboard and the other pages, the CLAUDE.md Claude wrote, and the house-style skill in .claude/skills/. Unzip it and run claude inside to pick up where the example left off.

Note

Folders that start with a dot, like .claude, are hidden by default. On a Mac press Cmd-Shift-. in Finder to show them; on Windows, choose View → Show → Hidden items in File Explorer.

Both activities went the same way in the steps that matter:

  • Read: Claude found every planted data problem on its own, before being asked for anything. For the study rooms: the repeated rows and the old room labels. For the café: the $45 latte, the closed days and the renamed cold brew.
  • Plan: Claude asked about the rule it couldn’t know, the kind of year or the exam dates. But its fallback for “just go” was wrong: calendar years every time, or finals only for the café. The note from the boss is what got it right.
  • Check: both dashboards matched the official number on the first try: 4,351 bookings and $145,205.25. /goal made Claude prove it from the CSV and confirm the number wasn’t typed into the page.
  • Remember: after /clear, a fresh session followed the rules in CLAUDE.md without being told again.
  • Skill: for a new page, Claude used the house style without being asked. The dean’s summary put a like-for-like +6% next to the +40% headline. The café flyer left blanks for hours it didn’t know.

The lesson isn’t that Claude is careless. It’s thorough, and it still can’t know your office’s rules unless you say them.

One practical note from the café run: the first time you run a skill in a folder that had no skills before, Claude Code can’t find it until you run /reload-skills. It says Unknown command: /house-style.
